Radiosurgery

Radiosurgery is the passage of ultra high frequency radiowaves into tissue.

The ultra high frequency radiowaves provide specific and delicate tissue interaction. When the radiowaves come in contact with tissue, they cause a reaction. The radiowaves produced by the electrode tip have the ability to remove, vaporize and/or shape soft tissue precisely and safely.

Radiosurgery is utilized during crown lengthening procedures which involve removal or reshaping of excess gum tissue around crowns or veneers to provide adequate tooth shape for properly fitting restorations.

Many other gum abnormalies can be addressed with Radiosurgery treatment.
